My mom seemed to think that the bow-tie breaking was punishment enough, because she was being really nice to me this morning and even asked if there was anything I wanted to talk to her about. I said no.

There’s only 2.5 weeks left until it’s time to sign up for Invention Convention teams, and Lada and I have a LOT of work to do if we want to get opening up finished in time. I’m thinking we spend a week on opening up and then we still have a whole week to do something scary. I think we can do it. Lada’s really efficient, so I bet we can.
